On Wednesday 18 May, the Vice President of the Attica Region in charge of Culture, Mr. Haris Romas, visited the headquarters of the Institute. The Vice President of the Region met the president of the Hellenic Institute, visited the church and the museum of icons and at the same time was informed of his activities. The possibilities for scientific cooperation between the two institutions were also discussed.
Mr. Romas was very satisfied with his visit and the briefing received; fact noted and signed in the Book of Illustrious Guests of the Hellenic Institute. He underlined the multidimensional role and the important contribution of the Institute in research for Greek culture of the Byzantine and Post-Byzantine period and stated that he will prepare a proposal for cooperation between the Attica Region and the Hellenic Institute.
