On March 7, 2024, the “vasilopita” was cut by the Hellenic Institute. The event was attended by the His Eminence Metropolitan of Italy Polykarpos, who blessed the “vasilopita”, the President of the Greek Orthodox Community of Venice dr. Dimitrios Zafiropoulos, the Honorary Consul of Greece in Venice dr. Bruno Bernardi, the staff, fellows, researchers and friends of the Institute. The, sent a greeting. The guests were welcomed by the President of the Institute, Professor Vassileios Koukousas who conveyed the wishes of the Greek Ambassador to Rome, Mrs. Eleni Sourani.
